Premiere Video Summary
From
these videos, I learned how to use Adobe Premiere to make effective videos with
transitions and how to use different tools and techniques to create the video I
want to make. A few of the shortcuts that I learned for the tools include the
shortcut for the selection tool is (v), the shortcut for the razor tool is (c),
and the shortcut for the hand tool is (h). Other keyboard shortcuts include the
zoom tool (z), the slide tool (u), and the slip tool (y). The keyboard
shortcuts can be modified and changed to fit your preferences and help you work
efficiently. Selections are also very important and the right tool can allow
you to do various actions that will lead to a more effective video. The panels
have different tabs and they are easy to move around in order to organize your
space to help you complete different tasks. There are multiple ways to import
media depending on the form the media is presented. One common way to import
something that is found on your computer, you can clip on the tab that says
media browser and navigate to the correct footage that you want to import. To
select tools, you can use the “I” and “o” keys to mark the in points and out
points. Pressing the space bar allows you to play or pause any imported video. Lastly,
once a video is on the timeline, it will “click” with the other videos on the
timeline in order to have a smooth transition between clips.

Texturing Video
From the video, I learned about the hypershade panel and how to effectively use the different tools to create various designs. The hypershade panel has a work space which allows me to create and add the various colors and textures to the object. There are multiple ways to do this, but for me, the simplest way to add color and texture was to middle click on the mouse and drag my node to the object. The video also taught me how to add simple materials to the sphere such as the checkerboard pattern with the red squares. I also learned how to blend colors by using the blend tool along with the color ramp and the checkerboard pattern. Lastly, I was able to add texture and make the sphere seem more realistic.

Scrapbook
Source Images:
To create my scrapbook template, I used multiple images and used the transformation tool to resize and rotate them. I also used previous projects that I made including the picture frame and the polaroid frame. I found scrapbook stickers and words to place on my template as well. I also used the layers panel to order the layers on top of one another and I added a drop shadow to most of the images to create the effect of the images popping out from the page.
